This website dates back to 1996 and is shown here in its original form. At that time, this display option represented the
maximum possible in terms of technological development. Because the internet was three years old. Data throughput only allowed
for photographs and text in kilobytes. A single page could not exceed 50 kilobytes. This was a challenge to create such a site.
Today, the whole thing seems strange, when 100 megabytes can be downloaded in seconds or even entire movies
can be watched. Or animations can be created in a short time using AI. Thus, this website remains an artifact of its time
– also in relation to the illustrated book of the same name from 1997.
